First of all, try to remove the mould with a cleaner. We recommend Lithofin KF Mildew-Away* for this application. If residues of mould nevertheless remain or if it has already penetrated the silicone so that it reappears a short time after treatment, you will have to remove the entire joint.
To remove the affected silicone joint, cut it out with a sharp knife or similar. Remove silicone residues without leaving any residues with Lithofin KF Silicone Remover.
Before applying the new joint, treat the area again with Lithofin KF Mildew-Away*.

Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier has probably been applied too generously. The stone could not absorb the quantity of product and the product residues formed puddles which dried on the surface.
This surface film can be dissolved with Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier. Simply reapply the product and ensure an even distribution. After 5 to 10 minutes, remove all surface residues with a dry cloth. The colour intensifying effect and the impregnator’s effectiveness remain intact.
Alternatively, you can remove the impregnator entirely with Lithofin WAX-OFF. Apply the product with a brush and allow it to work for 15 to 20 minutes scrubbing occasionally. The rinse the surface with plenty of clear water.
First remove any dirt and care product residues with Lithofin MN Power-Clean. Afterwards wipe the surface with Lithofin MN Care-Sheen. (in case of hard wear: apply Lithofin MN Care-Seal diluted 1:4 with water). You may have to repeat this procedure in order to achieve a rich sheen. Use Lithofin MN Wash & Clean or Lithofin EASY-CARE for regular maintenance.
Apply Lithofin WAX-OFF undiluted and allow it to work for 5-10 minutes. Add some water, brush, and then remove the product. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. You may have to repeat this procedure.
In case of stubborn, deep-seated stains apply Lithofin OIL-EX in a 2 mm thick layer to the dry surface and cover it with some foil. Remove the foil after about 12 hours and brush off the white powder after one more hour.
Grease splashes and vapours penetrate into the porous grouting material and with time turn them dark and unsightly. Lithofin KF Grout Cleaner dissolves and removes these deposits. However, oil and grease turn into resin with time, and they become more and more difficult to remove as time goes by. The clean joints should then be treated with Lithofin KF Grout Protector. This protective treatment will prevent the penetration of oil and grease.
Put some Lithofin WAX-OFF (undiluted) on the spot. Allow the product to work for 10 to 15 minutes, brushing occasionally. Then rinse the surface with plenty of clear water.
Lithofin KF Mildew-Away* will bleach most colours. Spray the product on the marks and rinse with plenty of water (while rubbing with a sponge) when the marks have disappeared.

First you should thoroughly clean the surface with an intensive cleaner. If the slippery surface was due to layer forming care products, the problem should now be solved. If the surface is still to slippery, you can use Lithofin Anti-Slip to “roughen” up the surface. The product removes microscopically small silicate particles from the stone / tile, thereby giving it more grip. Lithofin Anti-Slip is available in a convenient Set which includes all the equipment you will need to treat 6m².
At first glance, natural stone surfaces look dense and robust. However, the stone contains pores and capillaries, which allow dirt to penetrate the surface.
A protective treatment like Lithofin MN Stain-Stop (or Lithofin STAINSTOP >W<) makes the surface resistant to oil, grease and water borne dirt. Dirt does no longer penetrate the stone and is therefore simple to remove.
The protective treatment in combination with the right maintenance program will prevent staining. We recommend Lithofin MN Easy-Clean for daily cleaning.
Product residues were not removed in time and have dried on the surface. These dull areas can be removed with Lithofin WAX-OFF and a white nylon pad.
The impregnator has probably been applied to a still moist surface. Remove the protective treatment with Lithofin WAX-OFF. When the surface has completely dried, reapply the impregnator Lithofin STAINSTOP >W<.
Sometimes, the polished tiles are not thoroughly cleaned off when they leave the factory and there are still residues from the polishing process. These residues can be removed with acidic cleaners such as Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover.
Apparently, layer-building care products have left residues on the surfaces which are being redistributed with each wiping. Dilute Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner approx. 1:10 with water and apply it to the surface. Allow the product to work for 20 minutes, then brush and thoroughly rinse the surface with plenty of clear water. For regular maintenance, use Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner (for Australia and New Zealand: Lithofin KF Vitra-Clean).
Lithofin SPLASH-STOP will protect the surface against the penetration of water and dirt. Outdoors, impregnators should not be applied before late May or early June because the surface must be completely dry.
Protecting the surface with Lithofin STAINSTOP >W< will prevent water, dirt, oil and grease from penetrating into the surface, thereby simplifying maintenance.
In order to remove the dirt, the wax film must be partially dissolved. Dilute Lithofin WEXA up to 1:4 with water (test for the adequate degree of dilution in an inconspicuous area) and apply it to the surface. Allow the product to work for 10 to 15 minutes. Brush vigorously and rinse the surface with plenty of clear water. Allow the surface to dry completely. Applying Lithofin TC Classic Wax or Lithofin TC Ever-Sheen will achieve an elegant sheen on the surface.
Wipe the fixtures with a wet sponge and a few drops of Lithofin KF Ceramic-Clean (for Australia and New Zealand: Lithofin KF Active-Clean), then simply rinse with water.
The surface is not damaged, but there was a film of care products on the surface, which has now been partially dissolved. Thoroughly clean the surface with Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner. Lithofin EASY-CARE does not build layers or films and should therefore be used for regular maintenance.
First carry out a basic cleaning with Lithofin MN Power-Clean. Regularly wipe the surface with a moist cloth in order to achieve a well maintained surface appearance. Always add one squirt of Lithofin MN Wash & Clean to the bucket of cleaning water to protect and maintain at once. After every fourth cleaning, touch the surface up with Lithofin MN Care-Sheen. Lithofin MN Care-Sheen protects and maintains sheen on all polished surfaces.
Apparently, layer-building care products have left residues on the surfaces which are being redistributed with each wiping. Dilute Lithofin KF Intensive Cleaner approx. 1:5 with water and apply it to the surface. Allow the product to work for 20 minutes, then brush and thoroughly rinse the surface with plenty of clear water. For regular maintenance, use Lithofin KF Conditioning Cleaner (for Australia and New Zealand: Lithofin KF Vitra-Clean).
The grey film can be removed with Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover. Depending on the type of terracotta and the stubbornness of the deposits, dilute the product 1:20 with water. Then apply the solution, allow it to work briefly, brush and rinse off the surface with plenty of water.
Discolorations are caused by organic acids or color pigments (e.g. geranium flowers). These can be removed with Lithofin MN Outdoor Cleaner*.

It is best not to do anything. You probably used Lithofin ALGEX* in too strong a concentration, which made the algae turn brown. You can either brush with some water or wait for the rain to solve the problem.
*Use biocides safely. Read label and product information before use.
Cleaning the surface with Lithofin MN Outdoor Cleaner* will restore the surface to its original condition. After one to two weeks, you should treat the surface with Lithofin ALGEX* as a preventive measure. To ensure a clean surface in the future, you should spray it with Lithofin ALGEX* once a year, preferably in spring.
*Use biocides safely. Read label and product information before use.
Green deposits can be removed with Lithofin ALGEX*. Simply dilute the product 1:10 with water and spray it onto the surface. This product also serves a preventive function. To ensure a clean surface, you should spray it with Lithofin ALGEX* once a year, preferably in spring.
*Use biocides safely. Read label and product information before use.
Brush the surface several times with hot water and a dash of Lithofin MN-Power-Clean. Occasionally you may have to put a wet cloth on the area and allow the product to work for some time.
Generously apply Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier to the clean and completely dried out surface. In addition to giving the surface a deep and rich colour, Lithofin MN Colour Intensifier also acts as a protective treatment against water and dirt.
Note: Also suitable for all porous natural stones.
Wet the surface with water, then apply Lithofin MN Builder's Clean and allow it to work for about one hour. Add some water, brush, and then remove the product. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. In case of stubborn staining repeat this process.
Note: Some granites are pre-treated with products that may not be resistant to an acidic cleaner. Please test the product’s suitability prior to use. Discolorations resulting from plants look similar to rust and can be removed with Lithofin MN Outdoor Cleaner*.

The limescale has penetrated deeply into the stone and has damaged the polish of the surface. Removing these deposits without further damaging the surface is impossible. The surface can, however, be touched up, so the unsightly stains no longer show as prominently. Mechanically remove the surface deposit with a white pad and Lithofin MN Power-Clean. A shadow or a dull spot will remain visible. Protect the surface with Lithofin MN Stain-Stop and regularly apply Lithofin MN Polish Cream.
Apply Lithofin MN Outdoor Cleaner* undiluted and allow it to work for about 10-30 minutes. Brush, remove the product and then rinse off with clear water.
*Use biocides safely. Read label and product information before use.
It is advisable to put in the joints beforehand because there might be problems with the silicones adhesiveness if wax-containing products get into the joints.
If the impregnator has not been on the surface for more than 24 hours, use a bit of the impregnator itself to reactivate the residues.
If the impregnator has been on the surface for several days, use Lithofin WAX-OFF, let it work for 10-25 minutes (scrub occasionally). Then rinse off thoroughly.
